FC 27 Future Stars Academy Evo: All 4 Steps, Paths, Rules & Best Players to Pick The Future Stars Academy Evolution turns one young striker or CAM rated 80 or lower into an 85 rated Future Stars card, in four steps, with one path choice at each step. This video goes through the entry requirements, the four steps with their dates and path options, EA's own worked example (Kendry Páez, 74 to 85), how to choose your paths, the rules to remember, and the five players the FCUTCoins site ranks as the best picks. The card of each player is on screen as the name is said. Important: Páez is EA's example player, and EA has not published the attribute caps, so another player will not get the same stats, only the same 85 rating. THE 4 STEPS (one path choice at each step) - Step 1 - Fri 9 Oct, 81 OVR: base upgrade to 81, then Pace, Shooting or Dribbling (each with a weak foot or skill moves upgrade) - Step 2 - Sun 11 Oct, 82 OVR: adds +1, then Playmaker, Powerhouse or All-Rounder - Step 3 - Tue 13 Oct, 83 OVR: no shared upgrade, each path gives +1 and a PlayStyle (cap 3): Rapid, Power Shot or Technical - Step 4 - Fri 16 Oct, 85 OVR: adds +2, then Shooting (with Low Driven Shot, up to a cap of 4 PlayStyles) or Passing (with a stat round-out) - Whichever paths you choose, the finished card is 85 overall ENTRY REQUIREMENTS - Position: ST or CAM - Overall: 80 or lower - Pace: 86 or lower - PlayStyles: 7 or fewer - Born on or after 9 October 2003 (23 or younger on release day) - All game modes are valid; not repeatable, one player - The Step 1 boost takes any eligible player to 81, so a 70 rated starter and an 80 rated one both come out of Step 1 at 81 EA'S EXAMPLE: KENDRY PÁEZ (CHELSEA, 74 CAM) - PAC / SHO / PAS / DRI / DEF / PHY - Base: 74 OVR - 79 / 69 / 71 / 78 / 47 / 57 - Step 1 Shooting (9 Oct): 81 OVR - 81 / 84 / 78 / 81 / 49 / 69 (weak foot up to 4 stars) - Step 2 Playmaker (11 Oct): 82 OVR - 81 / 84 / 84 / 82 / 49 / 69 - Step 3 Pace with Rapid (13 Oct): 83 OVR - 84 / 84 / 84 / 82 / 49 / 69 - Step 4 Passing (16 Oct): 85 OVR - 84 / 84 / 86 / 83 / 49 / 72 - EA says attribute caps are not published and stats will differ by player HOW TO CHOOSE - Decide Step 3 first, then pick the earlier paths that support it - Run in behind: Pace at Step 1 and Rapid at Step 3 builds a striker who runs in behind - Pure finisher: Shooting, Power Shot, then Shooting again (with Low Driven Shot) - CAM for carrying and creating: Dribbling, Technical and Passing - Step 2 is the least decisive choice RULES TO REMEMBER - Keep the player on the Academy path between steps: the chain delivers exactly each step's maximum entry rating, and another Evolution in between can push him over the next cap - Path choices can't be changed: Remove Last Evolution takes off the most recent step, and removal is final - You can't finish early: the steps have fixed dates - Evolutions usually release at 6 PM UK time, but EA hasn't published times for these - One guide says you progress by playing a match with the player in Squad Battles (Semi-Pro or higher), Rivals, Champions, Rush or Live Events THE FCUTCOINS RANKING (one site's opinion, not EA data) 1.
