FC 27 Meta Players: Best Players by Position (GK to ST) + Budget Picks #FC27Meta

FC 27 Meta Players: Best Players by Position (GK to ST) + Budget Picks DESCRIPTION Who are the best players in FC 27 Ultimate Team, position by position? This video goes through one guide's reading of competitive squads: what makes a card "meta" (it is not simply the highest rating), the guide's pick and alternatives at goalkeeper, centre-back, left-back, defensive midfield, central midfield, attacking midfield, both wings and striker, how to build around them, and a few budget names. The card (or name tile) of each player is on screen as the name is said. IMPORTANT: this is ONE GUIDE'S READING of tracked competitive squads that the guide does not show. It gives no ratings, no prices and no data, and the meta moves fast, so treat the picks as that guide's opinion and check the live market before you buy. The cards shown are the players' CURRENT cards from our database (the guide names only Lacroix, Adeyemi and Diomande as Ones to Watch and Espart as Future Stars; for every other player it does not say which version). Any rating on a card is the card's own, not a "meta rating". Women's players are in the same pool as the men. The banner shown at the start and end is third-party artwork, and the in-game clips are FC 27 gameplay used as atmosphere. This is not financial advice. 00:00 Intro 00:15 What makes a card meta 00:34 Goalkeeper + centre-back 00:55 Full-back + defensive mid 01:16 Central + attacking mid 01:35 Wingers 01:51 Strikers 02:04 How to build 02:22 Budget picks + caveats 02:38 The short version WHAT MAKES A CARD META (per the guide): not simply the highest rating. It points to pace and acceleration, the right PlayStyles (examples named: Finesse Shot, Rapid, Quick Step, Technical, Intercept, Anticipate, Long Ball Pass, First Touch), a role that fits your tactic, weak foot and skill moves, and a physical profile (height, strength, agility) that suits the position. Its example: an 85 with great pace and the right PlayStyle can beat an 88 that does not fit (illustrative figures, not real players). THE GUIDE'S PICKS BY POSITION (names only; alternatives in brackets) GK: Joan García and Thibaut Courtois (alternatives: David Raya, Gregor Kobel). CB: Maxence Lacroix, Ones to Watch (alternatives: Willian Pacho, Dayot Upamecano). LB: Xavi Espart, Future Stars (alternatives: Selma Bacha, Álvaro Carreras). RB: the guide names no single dominant card. CDM: Xavi Espart is also one of the strongest; Pedri, Patri Guijarro and João Neves are all suggested. CM: Sakina Karchaoui (alternatives: Georgia Stanway, Pedri). CAM: Aitana Bonmatí (alternatives: Alexia Putellas, Bruno Fernandes). LW: Karim Adeyemi, Ones to Watch (alternatives: Claudia Pina, Lauren James, Bradley Barcola). RW: Lamine Yamal (alternatives: Yan Diomande, Ones to Watch, and Caroline Graham Hansen). ST: Kylian Mbappé is the benchmark, especially as an advanced forward (alternatives: Karim Adeyemi, Ousmane Dembélé, a more technical profile). Positional flexibility is a big part of this meta. HOW TO BUILD (per the guide): pick your tactic first, then choose players who fit its roles (for example ST advanced forward / attack, CAM shadow striker / playmaker, CM box-to-box, CDM deep-lying playmaker, CB defender). Upgrade the defensive spine first (centre-backs, defensive midfielder, goalkeeper). Spend most where you touch the ball most (ST, CAM, CDM, CB). Don't chase OVR: a great card in the wrong role can feel worse than a weaker card that fits. BUDGET PICKS ("good value" per the guide, names only): Roger Ibañez, Dayot Upamecano, João Neves, Elliot Anderson and Vicky López (CAM). CAVEATS: the rankings come from tracked competitive squads that the guide does not show, the meta moves fast, and the guide gives no ratings or prices. Check the live market first.
