FC 27 Best Evolutions: Which Evos Are Worth It, Best Players & Mistakes #FC27Evolutions #FC27Evos
video by futfilters.com
Which FC 27 evolutions deserve your time, which players to push through them, and the mistakes that waste a perfectly good upgrade? This video goes through the guide's view of the early cycle: how evolutions work, every free evo and its limits, the one paid evo and when it is worth paying for, how chains and Chain Preview work, the common mistakes and a handful of hidden options. The card of each player is on screen as the name is said.
HOW EVOLUTIONS WORK
- An evolution upgrades a player already in your club.
- Every evo has eligibility rules: maximum overall, maximum pace, position, number of positions and number of PlayStyles.
- Standard evos need match objectives. Training Camp evos run on a timer and that player cannot play meanwhile.
- Some evos let you pick a pathway, so judge the finished card, not the highest overall.
THE EVOLUTIONS
- Intro to Evolutions (free): the safest starter, for right-backs. Limits on the screen: max 75 overall, max 80 pace, not a centre-back, at most 2 positions, at most 7 PlayStyles. It takes 7 matches (not 6, as older guides say) and lifts a card to around 79. The guide names Sacha Boey, Lucas Vazquez and Idrissa Toure as candidates.
- Fullback Fork (free, Training Camp): left-backs or right-backs up to 79 overall and 83 pace, not centre-backs or central midfielders. Works best straight after Intro. The guide names Sacha Boey again, plus Diogo Dalot.
- Winger Glow Up (free, Training Camp): suits cheap wingers with a solid dribbling base and enough pace. The guide's example is Jeremy Sarmiento.
- Midfield Glow Up (free, Training Camp): for midfielders with good physical but weaker mobility or passing, like Oskar Repka. Pick a card with one strong area, not the highest starting overall.
- Frontline Paradox (free): for low-rated strikers. Strikers up to 79 overall and 85 pace, not CM, LM or RM, at most 7 PlayStyles. It can lift pace, shooting and physical, and it has pathway choices, so preview first. Strikers near the pace ceiling with decent finishing fit best; very slow ones do not.
- Creative Crossroads (paid, 15,000 coins or 150 FC Points as stated by the guide): attacking midfielders (CAM) up to 79 overall and 85 pace, not defensive midfielders or strikers. Worth considering only if the final card clearly beats similar cards on the market. Do not pay just because it is available.
CHAINS AND CHAIN PREVIEW
- Use Chain Preview before you commit.
- A chain stacks evolutions on one card, and the order matters: each step changes attributes and eligibility.
- Examples: Intro to Evolutions into Fullback Fork, or Winger Glow Up into Creative Crossroads.
- FC 27 also lets you remove the latest evolution or all of them, but it is permanent, so do not chain just because you can.
COMMON MISTAKES
- Choosing the highest overall, which leaves less headroom under the caps.
- Ignoring final PlayStyles and roles.
- Overpaying for popular base cards.
- Sending a starter into Training Camp right before you need him.
HIDDEN OPTIONS (cheap ideas from the guide)
Ivan Jaime, Jesus Corona, Maximiliano Meza, Oliver Antman and Finn Azaz. Check eligibility first.

Important: this is one guide's view of the early cycle, not the only way to use evolutions. Check the in-game Evolutions tab for what is live and eligible for your players. The cards shown are plain card renders used as examples; the guide does not say which versions to use. Screens in the video come from various dates, so no expiry dates should be read from them. Nothing here is financial advice.
